Traffic Light Scam

This is an email scam that was sent to me today. I guess they don't know
I haven't been in NY for years. July 2nd? Who remembers where they were
over 100 days ago? They had about 20 other email addresses which they
sent this to. Who knows what people think when this arrives.-Bob

I just spent a good part of my day reloading Windows, downloading and reloading natblast,
and downloading and reloading Firefox as a result of clicking on the wrong thing.

In my spam folder it was called " uniform traffic ticket" or words to that effect.
I had not been in New York for years and got curious........bad move....

There was an attachment with it. To plead not guilty, "Print out the enclosed
ticket". My computer virus software said it had no virus so I clicked on the
download. It instantly gave me at least 20 tiled system failures followed by
at least 20 four-character computer addresses. The scammers had a button
near the bottom to "fix it". That was probably the final nails in the box...... LOL
system restore went out of order. Hours of my time wasted fixing it.

Pass this on to interested people. This is not one of those bogus time
waster "virus alerts" from Microsoft. Next time I'm only looking at similar bs
at the Library instead of my home computer! Above's what it looked like. I deleted
the attachment. to protect the innocent.....-Bob

I actually had one of these people try to scam me. Lol they called me and said I had a over due red light ticket. So I was like really? What color is my car? oh and year and make as well.

They started to stutter and couldn't come up with it. So I just laughed and hung up.

You are correct, sir.
If anyone gets a ticket as a result of a red light camera, their attorney should get back to me.
I have done traffic studies, and can prove that the yellow light is frequently shortened and the
red is lengthened, making it almost impossible to make it through if a person is driving slowly and safely.-Bob

Usually it is established that the yellow light of an extra-short time where a traffic camera, often short enough that even skilled drivers regularly to run, simply because not enough time to stop secure a car or a truck at all, before the light turns red.
