early morning start problems
hey i got a quick question . ya i haven't been on here in about a year so be kind. anyway i got a 2003 protege5 and every morning i start the car up and drive down my street but at the end of the street waiting at the stop sign the car will die turns on again no problem but there no power feels like its missing or not running on all four but maybe a min later its running normal again . this is a new thing, the cars ran like a top for the 7 years i've had it is it just old age or is it something that going to cost me tons of money . i've seen this on other brands of cars too my dads jeep did the same thing years ago and my sisters Toyota did it too . any help thanx

1. Have you been doing the regular maintenance for your vehicle? You should have a book that explains when to do certain tune ups or replace certain parts for these vehicles.
2. Sounds like an issue involving your fuel system. I would take it to a mechanic if you are not very handy and have them inspect your fuel injector system, Fuel filter, Fuel pump w/filter attached.
3. When was the last time you did a engine tune up? Spark plugs, Wires, Air filter, Belts, caty converter, 02 sensors, and all that good stuff? May not be related, but it's something that is necessary for your vehicle.

I'd say your car just isn't a morning person. Neither am I, you try to get me started and I go back to hibernation mode until say noonish.

^ thats because in trailer parks that is normal, in real life people have school or jobs sometimes even both.

I have both and if you consider houses 4,000sq ft + trailers then I would love to see the place you are staying in.
