The DD8 kit is styled after the Mclaren F1. For 20k, you get the frame, body, etc, and it runs a mid engine/RWD layout, with an LS series motor. You can complete the kit for around $30-$35k. Discuss

If you're building that car, then it will obviously used for track days. It would be dumb to make it and put a stock-ish suspension on it and then drive it around town.

Comparing that to a stock car is a facepalm fest. Face...brick... fest. They're designed for polar opposite uses. That would be a track monster.

Isn't MIG typically easier to perform? They are probably hand welded, so less room for error, and more likely to be welded correctly?
