DDR SP8 Kit available
Just saw this on autoblog:
DDR Motorsport
The DD8 kit is styled after the Mclaren F1. For 20k, you get the frame, body, etc, and it runs a mid engine/RWD layout, with an LS series motor. You can complete the kit for around $30-$35k. Discuss

Or you can buy a normal car for 35k and drive it normally.

Comparing that to a stock car is a facepalm fest. Face...brick... fest. They're designed for polar opposite uses. That would be a track monster.
One thing though, why MIG welded? All that effort and no TIG?One of these days when my time has come, You can take me back to where I'm from.
Put me on a westbound train, An' ship me off in the pourin' rain.

MEANWHILE:
ON TAMPARACING.COM.....................
That's a cool ass car for $30k. I would definitely be down to build a kit car like that, being in control of every aspect of the car is awesome and an amazing body to go with it is ftw.
