Saturday night Gandy and Westshore shut down

A confrontation started yesterday night on Gandy and Westshore at around 3:00-4:00am

A silver Mazda Rx8 (with aft market wheels) clipped the side of my friend while he was on his motorcycle.

Anybody know any of the guys or the car? We already have the license plate number of the Rx8 and LEO have already went to the guys house, but there were others guys involved. Anybody know them? They ran over my buddy, shattered his leg in 3 places then a group of guys jumped him.

I remember those days and all the drama , every time~
are you saying that the rx8 hit him , then he got jumped by a group of guys while he was injured with a broken leg?
sooo, it wasn't a random hit and run but rather a conclusion to a earlier encounter maybe?

are the other guys with the rx8 ?
was your friend considered the agitator and equally involved or was it purely random ?
idk, i'm just wondering about the entire story and what could have lead to such a serious result.
They will probaly lay low for a couple of weekends out there, but you'll probaly find them at sunshine on weds.
If they go to the sat races then it's likely they goto the track . idk

hope your friend heals up soon and he gets the other guys involved but the lesson here is your safer at home at 4 am.

From what I understand he was riding in a group of bikes and there was traffic. The Rx8 was in such a rush he bumped into the biker at a low speed. The biker quickly throws his leg out and catches the bike, but the bike touched the ground. Then the Rx8 reversed slammed into some cars trying to flee. My friend jumps on the hood of the Rx8. I dont want to get into to much detail but there was close to 20 cowards who were friends of the Rx8 owner. Once the rider fell off the hood these 20 guys and a girl jumped him. The brother of the rider finally caught up to the Rx8 while the were pounding on this poor guy laying on the floor with a broken leg. Brother knocks out 5-8 people with his helmet.

Not looking for revenge, just looking for the group of people with the Rx8. Most were were younger early 20's I am sure they will have facial damage. Thankfully we have the Rx8's tag number, just looking for information.

hey i was behind the incident when it all began.. 4 bikes pulled up 2 minutes before the cops came they got off there bikes and stood around talking then once the cops got there they slowly got on there bikes which unintentionally blocked me and my girl in, in her hatch once one of them moved we were able to head on the bridge once on the bridge the 4 bikes were in front of us and decided to take up the whole bridge in a line taking off and slowing down when people tried getting around like my girl and i they then proceeded to swerve so we couldn't so i told my girl to slow down but then a silver rx8 came flying up in the emergency lane and got next to us and tried passing the bikes once 2 took off and came to close to one so then the bikes got mad and started messing with the rx8 and swerving at it to make him crash and stopping in front of it and one biker with the orange bike took his helmet of and swung at the rx8 by the time we got to the end of the bridge it got so bad that the bikes had surrounded the rx8 and slowed him down to a complete stop then the rx8 squeezed through an opening and hauled ass then turned down Westshore and then the bikes followed i told my girl to go straight and not follow the ignorance that was occurring so the reason ur friend got hit is because him and his friends wanted to be stupid and think they could do whatever they wanted and someone thought otherwise.. sorry for ur friend getting hurt but him and his friends should learn not to go against 4 wheels when their on 2 wheels....
