little late to the party but graves nailed it. they modified and removed what ford deemed a critical part.
And please dont give me us ford guys shit for out frames being bent from taking jumps are crazy speeds. Need I remind you Toyota was buying back Tacoma and Tundra trucks cause the frames were rusting into pieces.Floridaracing.org Tenative Schedulealso check out the Auto-x Event Schedule

It's a very well rounded long travel rally truck, NOT A TROPHY TRUCK. I've seen every last piece of advertisement they've done. Nowhere does it show acute-angled jumps, ridge-to-valley jumps, torsion landing, etc...
Don't expect a quiet, smooth, driveable truck to be able to take 100mph fore-aft landing like it's a tube chassis 20" travel trophy truck. It's the most well designed production truck of all time. One of these days when my time has come, You can take me back to where I'm from.
Put me on a westbound train, An' ship me off in the pourin' rain.

When Ford had issues with the 6.0 turbo diesel they were buying them back.

It wasn't even thiers. It was Interntaional/Navistar's VT365. Oddly enough in the class 5-6-7 trucks (19,500-35,000 gvw) where they see mostly WOT they last a long time.
