Soft top repair and paint. Yea I know.

$50 worth of urathane glue, fabric, and paint, and a few nights and I stoped the leaks, and used some dye and fabric paint (Charcoal Grey) to help make it look normal from a few steps away.

I know it wont hold forever, but it can buy me time to save and do other non car related things.

Sorry for crap cell pics But you can see the big "bandaid" on the soft top lol, plus it was fun, sorta, and helps with the "mod" bug i get every once and a while.

    Thanks for any comments

I used the same type of fabric that the top is made out of, which is kinda like a jean texture. And 3M urathane glue, it bends well, and sticks like a motherfucker. Nothing is going to get that patch off.

I think its going to take a lot more than soft top and new paint to make this car stop being gay.

You should probably just drive it off of a cliff and use insurance money for something less homo.

    You're welcome.

Why didnt you "bandaid" it by buying enough fabric to cover the entire top to the factory seams so that it doesnt stand out as much and that it may last longer that way....

I thought about that but that would be the opposite of doing something cheap and quick. Plus I think with so much added fabric and glue, it would be hard to fold the top.

I didnt use canvas fabric, but like it, and I useto have a hardtop, I sold it cause I drive with the top down alot. But I do have to close the top when it rains and I leave her parked outside sometimes.

But I love the hardtop, going to get one again in the future.
