i've also heard of people doing this to get some extra cash, i'd call them out. or atleast make em sweat a little, they wanted to get rid of your car real quick, tell em you went to visit some family in California and when you get back youll return it, but no set date yet. Fuck it.

well i went up to the dealer this afternoon they said they would finance it in house but only for two years and wanted me to pay over 500 a month for a used truck and i lollled...
i threatened with a family lawyer and about 15 min later the car i traded in suddenly appeared and i now have that again. needless to say i'm now looking elsewhere for a full size truck.
oh BTW this was Sun Toyota in New Port Richey

I worked a dealership, but we didn't let anyone leave with the car until the financing was 100% done. They would sign papers, agree to it and all of that, but if financing wasn't done, then the car didn't leave.
But I mean, we could secure financing any day of the week. That was at autoway Nissan.
the closest we came to that was some idiot sold a mustang to an old lady whole A) had a hard time driving stick and B) couldn't afford it, and we swapped the cars out and wrote her a check for the difference.
