FasT PiclkuPVersus Fast Car, WHich is better?
I have recently seen alot of lowered v8 s10's. I am curious about these vehicles as far as actual speed and handling. To me it just seems like its too light in over the rear wheels to get good launches, and pickups suck at handling any way.
and PS I ave a sonoma, but where others lower and speed up, I lifted and slowed down.

Trucks handle like tanks, and you will always have to say "its fast for a truck, or it handles great for a truck." Truck for toying and hauling and car for going fast.
Old schooler.

my old lightning handled ok ish. the rear end was slide happy in the corners but nothing that was uncontrollable. as for hooking from a dig it had no issues.
lightly modded it ran 10.2ish with no issues all day at gainesville. so quick for a daily driverLast edited by jriggs; 03-10-2011 at 11:59 AM.

My turbo tacoma is not fast by any means but its fun as hell to drive. Theres turbo kits out there for the 4cyl tacomas and you can lower them, make em look good and have around 300 to the wheels on stock motor. As stated above, Lightnings can be made fast. What about the Cyclone? etc etc etc..it all depends on what you want
Have you ever seen a man eat his own head?!

i was just making a point that id rather have better gas mileage...
and there are plenty of lil EG's out there running 9's in the 1/4 that still get close to 30mpg.... id say that falls under the "fast" and "great mpg" categories.
