my friend works at a body shop and he got in this new GTR driven by a 18 or 19 year old....said the kid came back driving a new viper to check on it....aah why cant i be one of these kids who just don't give a dam?? and/or just have too much $$ ava to them
and to top it off it was taken by a junker so its probably sitting in a local junk yard somewhere...by the sounds of it everyone was ok but dam this sucks,. just another wrecked expensive car driven by someone probably way too inexperienced to be behind the wheel...
and btw anyone know the story behind the wreck??

When I was in college, there was a kid who drove his dad's GT-R all the time to school. He would always enter the parking garage like he was "Billy Bad-ass" but we all knew his dad owned the car, not him. Well, I guess one time he pissed someone off, so they went and keyed the car. BADLY. I never saw the kid drive the GT-R to school again, just his "Junk G-37." (His words.....)

My guess is the kid turned off all the electronic nannies in the misguided thought it would make the car even faster.
I've been at an autocross where a guy did that with his GTR, he spun it on a perfectly flat parking lot on a wide sweeper.
Next run the nannies were obviously back on, those things can't correct for your lack of skill if you turn them off.Last edited by Niburu; 02-17-2011 at 09:43 AM.

Sounds like a bunch of pussy jealous haters to me, u dont fuck with another guys car.....anyways, theres plenty of trust funds and life insurance policies out there just WAITING for kids to turn 18 and go wild... I would think (hope) that most parents out there wouldnt get their kids Skylines and Vipers at 18, didnt they learn anything from Hogan?

You give your kid a Viper next because if he dies you can make your $ back and obviously his death is not of your concern.
Or you give your kid track days and instructed classes on how to handle his car and you don't have to keep buying car after car.if you can only race me in a straight line then whats the point

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.– the late Tom Thrash SCCA Solo E Production
