    The only reason to get a carbon fiber hood is if you are losing alot of weight from the car. My mustang hood was heavy so fiberglass cowl hood all the way. My ep hatch, had a lite as hood so no reason to swap to carbon fiber just to look faster.

    I honestly cant believe this thread hasnt started a huge heated flame fest here lol... I think the answer to your question lies in what you you feel to be most important to you. Some people only care about going fast and build some hella nice sleepers...others only care about looks, while some want comfort. Me personally...I like my vehicles to be exhilarating to drive so I worked on handling and performance first...nothing sucks worse than having a car with all the arm chair comforts of your living room recliner and nothing to wake your ass up. As stated above...going fast is more than just a money pit, it's a commitment to your car...you have to be willing to stay on top of high performance engines or you'll burn everything you have invested quick. Looks are by far the least important unless you plan on entering it into car shows for money...the thing about looks is...people may double take when you drive by...but by lunch they couldnt tell you what kind of car it was or what it had done to it if you walked up and asked em...people never forget having their ass kicked.

    And to answer your question...no 200-260hp isnt even stock hp in what most people consider a sports car.
