Summit Racing blows donkey dick

So my new truck needed some shocks. I found some on Rocky Mountain Suspension's website so I give them a call. The guy was great and real helpful since I was ordering superlift shocks and I have a different lift he went out and measured everything. He only had the fronts but told me Summit had 4 of them in stock. Cool dude.

I call up Summit Racing who verifys your car like 3x before you check out. This is why I did it via phone.
"97 s10 reg cab non zr2 5" lift got it."

Shocks come in from 2 different locations so I call up again to see if these where fronts or rear since they look exactly the same.
They reverify my truck. "Yep, those are the fronts for your truck,lift, blah, blah."

The "rears" come in and I start working. I do the rears first and I notice my new ones are a lot smaller in diameter and length. WTF. I call them up and give them the SAME NUMBERS OFF THE SHOCKS.
"Oh those are for a 3" lift and are fronts."
So these fucking dumb shits sent me 4 front shocks for a 3" lift.... The thing is, they didn't mess up in shipping, this is what they sold me!!!!
After waiting for the newest dumbfuck to find the right shocks, he says "ok that will be an $80 different would you like me to charge that to the same credit card?"
"FUCK NO I WOULDN'T. You guys dicked me over 2x and I did this over the phone so I wouldn't screw up your shitty online catalog BS"
I told him I only had like $20 in my account(bluff) so he comes back after a couple mintues and says they could do it for $20. I didn't know thats what he was asking but what ever.

What ever, that was last week, I'm over it.

This is why I order from Summit online. So I know exactly what I'm getting. If it's in stock at the Georgia warehouse it shows up in two days. The online store also shows you backordered parts and expected shipping dates for those parts. Summit Rocks.

I usually don't like catalogs online because they are generic as hell, hence me calling in. If there online thing is so great, how did their sales reps fuck it up?

The best thing to do is to look up the part number you need for your car and order by part number, not by description. Always worked for me. Summit has always been on point with the parts I needed. Every company screws up every now and then, we are all human.
