Anyone got experience with this T/B?
Trying to see if anyone out there has ever seen this particular throttle body before...my intake manifold is setup to take a 90mm Q45 throttle body and I'm trying to figure out if this thing will bolt straight on without having to take the sheet metal intake manifold to have a custom flange welded to it.

The information I'm looking for on this throttle body is if it doesn't the TPS will it work on my dsm...and if the bolt pattern on it is the same as what is found on the q45 90mm (80mm) throttle body

from the way the description reads, you're going to have to set up a custom flange to bolt it up.

yeah...that's what I was reading from it too...was hoping they were implying a custom flange on a stock manifold though...I order the manifold for my dsm with a q45 tb flange on it from the fabricator.../headdesk this car is starting to give me a headache lol

I'm sure a custom flange on the manifold would be the best way to do it. I won't want to weld the throttle body to the manifold. Originally Posted by Evol-Eagle-96

yeah, the throttle body comes with a a flange...just hoping I dont end up needing...we'll know for sure monday lol.
On the likely chance it will need welded...does anyone know a shop that can weld the flange on without completely destroying the mirror polish on the intake manifold...I called local ones and they're all promising to leave burn marks...not acceptable in my book lol.(Insert Facetious Quote)
