Chuck's got a point here. In fact the closer I look, I don't think that kit is on a ZR1 at all, just a regular Vette. Making this street version of a C6R pretty poseur-ish. Look at the size of the brakes on a real ZR1

If it was on a real ZR1 or equivalent mod'd vette and the wider width actually makes for performance gains and not just looks, then I'll think it's a lot cooler.

Not really feeling the running boards. But then the yellow one looks bad without them. Looks bad ass from most angles though.

This car started off as a base C6. The brake system is the same 14" as the Z06. The brakes look extra small because they are sitting behind 20" wheels rather than 18/19s like on a Z06. I agree, if they were going to stuff 20" wheels under there they should have gone with the ZR1 carbon brake setup.
Here is the same size brake setup on a Z06

Here is the mod list for the "ZR1 Widebody"
Conversion (as seen) consists of: * ZR1 Style Extreme Size Front Fenders - $1,799/set * ZR1 Style Extreme Size Rear Quarters - $1,499/set * ZR1 Style Extreme Size Rocker Panel / Side Skirts - $899/set * SS Extreme Hood with Functional Vent - $1,199/set * ZR1 Style OEM Size Front Splitter - $499 * ZR1 OEM GM Rear Wing - $699 * Full Installation Kit (includes grills, liners, etc) - $599 * 360 Forged Concave Mesh - F: 20x10.5" / R: 20x13" (With P/C Lips/Black Anodized Centers, assembled by Nutek) - $5,999/set * Nitto Invo's - 285/25-20 & 345/25-20 - $1550/set * Z06 OEM Calipers / DBA 1PC Rotors / Hawk HPS Pads / PC Lambo Yellow - $2999 * Breathless Performance Exhaust Diffshared_user - $1499 * Custom Fabricated Exhaust for Diffshared_user (Custom Dynomax High Flow Stainless Steel) - $950 * GM OEM ZR1 Nose with front fascia reinforcement - $999 * Pfadt Coil Overs - $1750 * Pfadt Sway Bars Light Rate (Street) - $1100 * Tint - $250 * Blackout Kit - $275 * Sound Deadening Insulation kit by Madvette Motorsports - $150 * Installation (Including Jet Black Paint - entire car, brake upgrade, exhaust, and Pfadt Suspension Upgrade) - $8100.00Last edited by XxXJokerXxX; 12-30-2010 at 04:46 PM.

The best engine in the world is the vagina, it takes any size piston, its self lubricating, starts with 1 finger, and every 4 weeks does its own oil change. It's just a pity the management system is so fucking temperamental.
