Beginner racer question ?
Ok,so I know I have little experience driving I'm man enough to admit that. But yet my knowledge on performance and the engine itslef is overwelming so I can make a pretty sick ride out of just about anything. so what would you MORE experienced obviously older racers/drivers advise for a kid like me ? So fare as having a good solid safe car(this is my mom's requirments)? I'm just curious, cause there are thousands of car's to choose from. But I well my mom rather wants me to get something safe and good on gas. i want something that I will be able to atleats tweek for some kind of performance edge BESIDES STUFF MADE BY HONDA ! so do you guys have any suggestions ?

yes what she said

get a celica(older one)
thats a 14-15 sec car very easily, with few DIY mods safe and good on gas...
safe: been in 5 accidents never a dent in me... but my poor car
gas: 350 miles per 13 galon tank... good enough for me

Are you interested in drag racing or road racing? If drag then get a V8. If road then get anything and go to the autocrosses.
Good luckChuck
