I thought this was pretty well done too for drag slicks on all four corners.

I'll probably still catch flake even here but eh, WTH...
My car... been to a couple track days, an almost ready for some more. Still working on a few things like some wider wheels and tires, new lower control arms, some bucket seats, a harness bar and 4 point belts, etc... it's almost there.
It has some functional track parts though. 13" brakes, tow hooks, oversize radiator, oil/trans/PS coolers, adjustable struts, urethane bushings, eibach springs, sway bars... pretty much complete suspension overhaul.

V This is my roommates new car that we are gonna start tracking. 2003 Porsche 996 C2. Already has JIC coilovers and swaybars. GT2 rear deck lid, buckets, and steering wheel. Aftermarket front bumper, full roll cage, 5 point belts, headers, exhaust, intake, and tune. Should be a fun track car. Yes it's a tiptronic, but for a beginner that's good to learn with.

No flack from the likes of me Aaron, I like what you've done with your ride.
I almost forgot to add some of the pics of my long running side project

Very nice. I've heard the older Porsche's can have a "jekyll and hyde" personality, but man they still look great ten or even twenty years later!

They are a handful to control, especially the old school ones like mine with no ABS or traction control and way too much power available at the back wheels. It makes up for it though since it was also the worlds fastest production car from the late 70s right up to the early 90s.
Damn, mine is 23 years old now so its almost officially an antique car now.Last edited by S60R; 05-18-2010 at 07:15 PM.

i miss my old car: 97 acr neon, factory built for add cage and track race, unfortunately the person i bought it from used it for drag racing but im sure whoever has it now only has a cople small things to make it a great competitor on the track.....
stock: no a/c, koin adjustable struts, all wheel disc brakes, close gear ratio trans, front/rear swaybars, and i forget what other "factory upgrades " were included in the acr model

why did i drive a neon? click the link to the old ride: http://acrracing.tripod.com/
