Thread: New Euro-spec Focus

Looks like the Focus is getting a face lift for the next model year over in Europe. The front end looks very similar to the Mondeo for a more conservative look. The WRC-like fender flares and the new back end look very nice. I think the new front end doesnt seem to tie in well with the rest of the car like the older body style.

The Focus is turning into the modern day VW Bug.

The only euro-spec turbo motor that car will ever see is the 2.0l TDI that has been available since 2000 in Europe. The TDI is rumored to be available in the US as soon as they can figure out how to get the motor to run efficiently on the skank diesel fuel in the US.
Of course there is always the RS Focus...but I doubt we will ever see that powerplant in a production Focus.
