Pictures from the 2009 Essen Motor Show in Germany - 56K Warning

The Porsche 911 GT3 RSR Cup aka "Rennfrikadelle"....means "racing beefsteak".
Thats the car of female pro race driver Sabine Schmitz, you guys sure do know her from several episodes of Top Gear......for example The Brits vs the Germans (again lol)
here she is, she was nice as always (I see her occasionally at the Nürburgring) and also gave me a personal dedication on my autograph poster yay
she was wearing ear protection because there was an indoor race- and drift track right next to her.

I didnt even take pics from the really nice old 50-70's cars....but I'm more the race car guy, so I let them out....another friend of mine, who has a way better camera than I have, took some more pictures.

Simply amazing and such a huge freakin show.
We just went to the auto show in Orlando yesterday and were - as usual - saying "this is it?"
oh and added the 56k warning to the thread title. they might be crying and screaming waiting for the download but they would find it worth it after

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
