6060 Is basically an upgraded t56. Stronger case, the gear faces are wider. Also the t56 had dual cone syncro's for the 1-2-3-4 with the remaining gears using single cone, and the 6060 gets triple cone for the 1-2-3-4 and dual for the remaining. 6060 got upgraded shift forks as well.

I guess I shouldn't have made fun of their transmission.. My car broke down today in the middle of tampa road lol..

Still hasn't deterred me one bit from wanting one.
If i don't get a decent deal on a GT500... off to the chevy dealer I go for a order.

What's funny is all these people are bitching about the same thing that happened with the 03 350z (which seems to have been plagued with more problems). The camaro and chevy's new small car offerings (i.e. the cruze) will get GM out of the rut they are in.
