For people that have traded cars?
I am thinking about trading my vette with someone for a different car, how do you go about as far as registering and paying taxes? I would actually get the guys car plus money on top, do I still have to pay taxes even though I am not spending any money? I know you are supposed to fill in how much you paid for the car and have a bill of sale but I would not be paying anything for it, just not sure how that works.
btw this is the car:

Why would you trade your newer Vetter for older-gen? I don't get it

Put "Even trade" As what you paid for it(Zero taxe's)..I trade cars on a monthly basis and have never had a problem with it.With Gift you can get alot of questions sometimes and title problems.

I've seen a lot of c6 guys downgrading back to c5Z06's. I find it funny but I actually like the c5 coupe design better than the c6 hatchback design. I could see why you would want to do it, plus you get out of debt and still get to drive a vette.

even trade works good. done it several times before, they will probly look at you like you are stupid but it is all well and good. if you are getting money on top, tell em negative whatever you get and make them pay you.
RIP my very best friend. DJ aka djzstang1 you will be missed dearly. I love you bro.
