Import scene Died once F&F came out just like a few of you said.Only thing left is a bunch of young thugs and thieves. It was fun back in the late 90's early 2000's though. TR added a good forum for me to mouth off so it was a pretty cool addition to the race scene. One thing I miss is hanging out with a lot of the old school guys. Also seems like the days of friendly competition are over. Most of the people out there now hate each other. I'm just glad I was one of those that were able to introduce the Bseris Civic to the V8 guys..
Just a thought, but we should have an old school meet.

If your talkin about TMR Magazine.... sucks they are no longer around. The early ones were pocket sized, lol. They used to give them away at the NIRA events in moroso back in the day. I still have a few of there issues lying around. Best import diehard/grassroots mag produced.

Unfortunately I wasnt a part of the Tampa scene back in the day. I lived elswhere in Florida. The scene in Miami was pretty much the same back then and has turned out the same now as described here. It was wholesome, friendly,to the roots and great back then. Nowadays its a whole different story.......Last edited by flashmatrix; 07-07-2009 at 10:07 AM.

Old school meet?.........
Old school meet?.........
In September the weather will be cooler, and I know a place.
Good Bay Area Location, cookout facilities, shade, reserve parking
limit of 200 cars. $5 per person for food should cover it.
If only people who paypal in advance are given the location, that gets
rid of the street squirrels.
Should we start a forum to sign people up? We already have
their screen names in one of the forums.-Bob
---- on-site *Aftermarket* spring/suspension installations --- on-site impact wrenching---street lowering with your own stock springs...........
Much more at Bob's Garage!
