Looking for factory or custom upholstery work? (Pics Inside!)
Just a small example of what my dad does.
This is what the interior looks like on my z3 stock, minus the red.

Here's mine.

Its a combination of the oem plastic comparment with a wood frame, and covered and molded with fiberglass and topped off with a nice foam and black leather. And it is sealed tight and works just like a normal subwoofer enclosure. And yes its a Dual 4 ohm voice coil 8in sub, connected on a paralle serise to a mono amp doing about 600 rms at 2 ohms. WHich is plenty for such a small car.
If anyone is looking for anything to do with upholstery work on there car, please let me know, my dad does most of it out of his garage, he's pretty fast, charges super fair, and quailty work!
He does leather, seats, door panals, sunroofs carpets, headliners, visors, rag tops, conv. tops, custom amp mounting, speaker mounting, subwoofer enclouseres, and much more.
The actual amp, and wire install was done by me.
Please if anyone is looking for anything, he could use the work to make some money, just like us all.

Looks good but shouldn't he have to sign up as a shop to advertise on here?
Old schooler.

thats cool. I want to put a little 8 in my boxster.
if you want your dad to look at a couple stock pics and see if he has any ideas let me know... thanks man, just pm me i guess
I can't really think of anything except maybe a little custom box in the passenger left corner (front) or maybe something behind the pass. seat since i barely let anyone besides my girl (small) ride anyway
This is a stick up, don't make it murder.

What I need to have done may be a little beyond what he is capable of. Basically, taking a gutted '51 cadillac convertible, and turning it into this:
Of course, I am at least a year away from getting to the interior.
1953 Cadillac Coupe De Ville (Fuel Injected, Drive-by-wire, DoD)
2009 Pontiac G8 GT (6.0l V8 Sleeper)
2011 Toyota Sequoia Sport 4x4 (Tow Rig)

My dad has been doing what he does for years, and making custom int's is not new to him, not saying he's the best in the world, but he has plenty of photo albums to show his work, he has made full ints before for a lambo kit car, a 68 camaro, and others.
But something like that takes alot of time, and work, unless you know exactly how u want it.
If anyone is serious and wants his number, he can check out your car and he will tell you what he can do, by when, and how much.

Wow, that is a pretty clean install. I'm sure you're aware of how much of an after thought that back panel and area were from the factory. Nice work!
