what the best exhaust setup for me|??
okay guys so i have a jdm b16a with intake and a nice 4-1 headers.
Problem is im running a stock single cam exhaust and i want my vtec to sound louder
Does anyone know whats the stock single cam exhaust size??
Im planning on doing 2.25 straight back no cats but keep the stock muffler tip to quiet it down a bit. Will it still sound loud?

You hear VTEC a lot more with a short ram intake vs a cold air. Using the stock muffler your probally not going to get much out of it. Get the Tanabe exhaust FS on here like $300 for the cat back and it will sound nice but still be rather quiet compared to the straight through mufflers.

Open exhaust ports. Do it or you're a pussy. And a ricer.

It don't matter. 2.25 is all you'll need. And find an OEM muffler that is 2.25"

The short ram is the cheapest way to hear VTEC.
Different people have thoughts on horsepower, though....
2 1/4" isn't a bad size to use for the pipe.......-Bob---- on-site *Aftermarket* spring/suspension installations --- on-site impact wrenching---street lowering with your own stock springs...........

Whichever you pick make sure the circumference opening is twice the size of all four cylinders circumference combined.
