BBB's old LT1 roadmaster, ran high 11's on hubcaps and shut up everyone in the stands at sunshine when it would ride out

"Does this look like a piece of crap to you? Like them spinnin' tires do you?"

here is a sweet sleeper. scroll down till you see the engine. ita 1.8l BP turbo, runs 12.113 sec at 113.93mph in the 1/4. and the FMIC is sprayed black so its kinda hard to see in the pics.Last edited by rotarykidd; 06-22-2009 at 11:00 PM.

One and only rebel child,
From a family, meek and mild:
My Mama seemed to know what lay in store.
Despite all my Sunday learning,
Towards the bad, I kept on turning.
'Til Mama couldn't hold me anymore.
Mama tried to raise me better, but her pleading, I denied.
That leaves only me to blame 'cos Mama tried.

you can't tell its on slicks?? you need to relax , and go get a better monitor pal
yes it looks like shit and that's... great ! ... I guess.. I don't care if it looks like shit or stock , you can tell from all the pics and videos its not a sleeper
ESPECIALLY if you happen to be sitting next to it on the street or on the line, and can't tell.. you need to move on to a different hobby.
again , a sleeper should be a vehicle that looks , and for the majority sounds stock. and will get the job done. That truck is in no way a sleeper. fast? hell yes. sleeper? hell no. If he would just put the factory tires on the truck, then I would give the two thumbs up.
Some of the cars I've posted aren't true sleepers either , but yet they are forgotten cars that some people won't recognize. This truck is good I guess. Anybody can put a big engine in a piece of crap.. but to disguise it as stock, is another level ... one that many cars in this thread fail to do. no matter how badass they are.

amen . I bought one for $350. aired up the tire and drove it home at almost 50 mpg
one of the most fun cars I ever owned.
the 1.8T swaps are amazing in them . but something about going over 85 in the car is just scary
I had a left front tire blow at 75 mph and it almost took out the cars wiring harness with it . that was a fun one
