that upper wing reminds me of voltron
I also agree that the cars look better with that more 90's style appearance. I am loving them again. The past few years cars have been bad ass, but they were essentially time attack cars.

Team Orders are complete garbage. Even though they were made 'illegal' shit still happens. I'll never forget Austria in 02 when Rubens just moved over and lifted to let Schumi by to take the win because the team told him to....at least MS was a gentleman about it and switched places with Rubens on the podium during the ceremony. Which more than pissed off Ferrari and the FIA

The old aerodynamics packages made passing difficult. The cars has TOO much downforce and cut too clean of a hole in the air that the driver behind had a tough time getting a run on the car in front of him.
The new areo is supposed to be slightly less effective to allow for more passing, thus the return of slick tyres to compensate with mechanical grip...and I think it's a return to a smoother and cleaner car design of the early 90s, personally.

Actually the cars caused too much turbulence, which made it difficult for the cars to follow them. The new rules are attempting to clean up the wake turbulence of the cars to make drafting easier. It makes sense when you think about trying to drive a car at 170+ mph with absolutely no downforce.
