Well no shit, when you start with a 100hp econobox it takes insane amounts of work to get into the 10s.

Its the same thing with a non-turbo eclipse.

He said right off the bat it'd be the 4g63t... So his statement is pretty much true.

Modding the 4g63t to do 11's is way less expensive than any honda. That was his point.

That steep uphill battle is what keeps the platform so popular.

Keep the car stock, and running well. thats the main priority. minor exterior blemishes will fade away while your driving, and you wont even think about it. just drive the car, buy other things, or save the money.

I've seen a few k20 hatches run mid 10's with just bolt ons and a healthy shot of nitrous.

It doesn't take an "insane amount of work",it just takes someone who knows what they're doing.

As is with every platform.

Just because your prelude can't even do that in the 1/8th,doesn't mean other cars cant do it in the quarter.

You guys are some threadjacking mofo's LOL.

But yea, I agree with all the people that said save the money and leave the mirage alone. Gas and Oil. Put money into something that is worth spending money on. You will be happier in the long run, I promise.
