What do people plan on doing with the parts? They cant use any of the drivetrain in another car or suspension. Only usefull thing on that car is brakes. Other than that nothing else can be swaped unless helped by the nissan engineers themselves.

not true. look at how the civette project turned out and the builder of it was a regular car guy.

If you can get an entire transmission set up custom built then you have a chance. But the cost of that would negate the whole project. Then you have the problem with the electronics. Its a bit more complicated than an LS1 in a civic.
