I haven't even read through all of these, yet, but damn...

About 6 months or so ago, before I moved up north, he sent me a PM, asking me to quote a bunch of work. I couldn't even really understand what he wanted. Stuff like, 'a DD in the dash, maybe 2, and a couple DD's in the back'. By DD, he said that he meant double din, but I still couldn't figure it out.

I asked him to bring the car by, and he said it was too far just to come in for an estimate, but if I gave him a good price, he'd just bring it in to let me start. I asked for pictures of what he wanted, and he sent me all sorts of pics, of all sorts of installs...ranging from simple to insane. I finally just told him that I wouldn't give him an estimate, without seeing the car.

I kicked myself for a little while, thinking that if I had spent more time with this guy, I could have had a really nice, big job...boy, am I glad I didn't...

Sorry you took him on, ImportGuy, best of luck. And by the way, the work you did looks absolutely fantastic!

ya he is prolly one of the most annoying kids too. hes short has a big new york accent and talks like he is hard as fuk. but its ashame he is trying to scam you out of 16 grand. I highly doubt it will happen and if it does his addressis on that link for all of t.r. to access.

Hes got a way of getting around. I cant believe when I did some work to his car last year that he was still in HIGH SCHOOL!!! I thoght he told me he was in college and working nearly full time. Never got the balence of money owed to me for services rendered.
