not only that, but these guys are in danger of losing their shop, and falling behind seriously on personal bills. Regardless if they were silly to keep working, or whatever other motivators there were; I would help anyone out in a similiar situation with whatever I could bear at that time.. They did not ask for donations, and were reluctant at first.. The community forced this help on them..

I was on the "throne" (or crapper for some of you...it's where I do my best thinking) thinking about why this thread is different than most...

here's what stands out in my mind...

1. Joe brags about modifications being done, and constantly adds things, knowing that it will cost $$$ to do this. It's not as if he showed up and was plannning on paying $6,000 or $8,000, and got handed a bill for $16,000. He didn't have crap.

2. Joe comes on here, and doesn't actually defend himself. He merely makes threats. He never once stated that he didn't actually authorize the work, only that he didn't sign an estimate. He didn't actually refute the charges, or state they were unreasonable, but instead only talked about getting the car back by Friday. He knows what he was attempting to do.

3. He gave his Balls to the women in his life, and made them do the dirty work.

4. He tried to modify an Automatic base model Celica with a turbo.

5. TR and half of the world are stomping on those balls right now.

If I bought that car, which I wouldn't, the first thing I would do is convert it to a manual.

hey guys i would like to help out by donating some monies but i dont know really how too if any one can help me do this or i can just swing up to the shop this weekend and just give it to importguy1208. this guy is a tool for scamming a hard working shop who puts out some damm good work. and by reading this whole thread ( which took me all day) he deserves everything he gets charged with! good luck with the whole trial.
