NOPI's main problem is they didn't change their business model and marketing strategies when the market changed. One look at any of their websites shows how stuck in the late 90's they are. They think the only customers they should market to are the the bling, all-show-no-go, flip-flop trunk, and underbody neon kind of crowd.

Had they adjusted/expanded to meet the demand of the maturing enthusiast, they would have been in great shape right about now. They didn't realize that the 16 year old that bought light-up windsheild washer nipples from them 8+ years ago is now the guy that wants more mature products and events/experiences from them.

They blame the current economic state on their demise, but it's no one's fault but their own. Playing the "economy" card was just an easy way for them to pass the buck.

All the sluty coke-whore models in the world couldn't have saved that sinking ship.

The automotive industry is better off without NOPI.

I really wanted to go up to NYC and hit jersey at the end of august but now there is no event so I will have to go just on vacation. Fuck I wanted to see some more events.

I wonder if their business model was based on it. Every week I recieve more and more emails with their special sales and the parts aren't anything you would buy to build a car for speed.

Even their stupid show which when you FFWD through all the girls and people who like to body kit their cars showed maybe a few minutes total of the guys who were putting a lot of time and effort into their racing to get down the track and win.

I think it was a matter of poor looking ahead in their business model.

I liked NOPI for the driver series, friends with the judges and some of the drivers. Im going to miss it. I will never goto a HIN unless someone else is paying.
