Just as the title says! Feel free to add to this thread, all ye who love Porsche. Sorry that they're all mixed up, but w/e. Here's the link to the album in case you want to know what a particular car is:

yeah, I've had about 6 porsches in my family from 951s to 911 turbos and 911 Carrera RSs... but they weren't technically mine, so I wouldn't say that "I" owned them

This thread confirms what I already suspected about myself: after the STI has been driven and modded into the ground, my next car will be a Porsche. Most likely a turbo model. The last true sports car. Real manual tranny, real power, and not excessively comfortable. Just like a grown-up STI sedan
(notice I specified sedan). MB AMG, BMW M and Audi S/RS are fantastic, but not true sports cars like a Porsche turbo. They are merely luxury sedans with a dose of sport.

i would consider the GT3 (or GT2 if you can afford one lol) more of a sports car. i would rather the turbo as well, because awd is fantastic in a rear engine car, but the rwd porsche is still more of a true sports car.
my dad is an instructor, so he drives students cars all the time. drove a 997 carrera and said its the best transmission he has ever felt in his life. couldnt even describe it, it was just that awesome lol..[/center]
