for 10k you might be able to find a bug eye WRX it will be nicer than some shitty fwd honda and a lot faster.

I got my 2001 gsr for under 10k its decent but not fast or anything, maybe "sporty" at best. Handles good and gets around 32mpg, pretty fun to drive, nice interior...

no bit it makes him a moron and a traffic hazard.

kid who started the thread... what job do you have to pay for the car, the gas, the "light mods", the repairs, the speeding/driving like a jackass tickets and most importantly the insurance so that when you hit something/someone being an idiot at least they will be covered?

oh yeah and kick your dad in the ass and tell him to take his responsibility seriously and stop raising a retard.

Pretty much any Toyota and any Honda will do, and you can't really go wrong with either. The difference comes in theft rates and insurance rates based on those, which makes the Toyota a cheaper car.

lol no i'm not a retard and the comment about the american manufactures no one brain washed me. my own opinion. if i ever buy an american car it has to be suv or sports car. nothing else.
i make about 400-500 a month so that gives me enough for a $200 payment, 100 on gas and about 20-30 saved for wear and tear. i really have no obligations cuz i have nothing to pay. i paid everything that i had off already so i can just have one payment. besides i'm not gonna build a race car i just wanna improve it so its a little better that stock.

btw body kits are pointless on a slow ass car. make ya look like an ass.

Spending half the money you make a month on a car payment is a really bad idea. Start cheaper. Maybe you should just buy a reliable car for cash $3-5k. Go to bankrate.com and check out their car payment calculators. It will tell you what you can afford. I used it, then I went out and bought a car that was 2/3 of what I could safely afford. I am so glad I did. My expenses have nearly doubled since last July, and I would be fukt if I had bought a more expensive car. There is no sense in being trapped in a car payment you can barely afford.

i definately wouldnt spend 10k on your first car. and if i were you i wouldnt finance it either, chances are you will total it. 400 - 200 - 100 - 30 = 70, wheres the money for insurance? dont be a jackass and drive without it.

$30 for wear and tear lol thats not even an oil change. What would happen if you got a flat tire or got your bumper smashed up? Buy $4000 civic and just drive it stock.

its funny how everybody trip out about weaving in and out of traffic, i dont do it alot but sometimes when im in hurry and we all know florida is full of old people that like to drive all over all the lanes less than a speed limit so sometimes you have to do what you have to do. but u should get a newer gsr and put nice i/h/e and ur set.

My dad and i already discussed the insurance back in march. since he sold the car that i was gonna get he's gonna pay 2500 for the insurance and also help me out on major repairs. thats about 1yr of insurance so i have enough time to get a better job. The most i would be driving is to my high school and back which isn't even 10 minutes away. anywhere else is another 20. why do you even say i'm gonna total my car?

I never wrecked any of my cars and I had a 2002 camaro z28 at 16 it just takes a certain kind of person to handle it. Just get a cheap civic to get you around. Lower it, put rims on it and be done.

seriously crashing here is nothing compared to puerto rico. you wanna learn how to drive go over there and you'll understand why i weave in and out of traffic. a fender bender over here is an 80mph crash over there. if you can drive over there on the freeway without getting an insult you can whine about me weaving through traffic.
