They are doing it again on Gandy........saw 'em the other day.....speed drops to 45, then 35, way before you reach the bridge end or the construction........and cars ripping past me.....Tampa cops at the end of the bridge........a real money-maker for awhile......if it's that important they would be there 24/7..............the biggest money maker is in downtown Tampa.......Kennedy and Ashley street...........at least 6 cars per red light run it.........EVERY cycle of the light during the day......

BTW, I pay $16/month to cover unlimited ticket defenses, any city. any county, any state. The legal insurance agent's phone is in my sig.
But the insurance has to be in effect at the time you get the ticket. They don't cover any retroactive past tickets.-Bob

Don't they issue arrest warrants and suspend DL's for unpaid tickets?
That and an expired sticker, could mean that you need to pack your tooth brush when you make that mandatory court appearance......

When you go to court the first time (arraignment, you are there to enter a plea and set a court date if you plea not guilty) the cop will not be there. It will be you the Judge and a DA or two. If you don't get a lawyer, show up and go talk to the DA(s) and see if you can work out a deal with them.

I've also heard of lawyers that will get you a trial date and then keep bumping it back for bs reasons until the case either gets tossed or the cop just won't show up. In either situation you win.

With your unpaid tickets, temp tag bs and not so great driving record you should get a traffic lawyer. With things being slow for alot of lawyers you might be able to get one for cheap.

chirping lasts a second or less, literally. Whereas the latter lasts more than that. I chirp all the time if its raining outside and i happen to be sitting at a red light on top of that white paint. It just happens, i don't move very fast but its for a brief split second.

It was not quite a little chirp, because it was a bit wet from the mid afternoon rain, but it was not a "omfg look at me go drift tytteee" either, I didnt even realize I had done it till it was too late because of my taking the u-turn quick.

I have 0$ for a lawyer either : \ The ticket is not late or anything, I had an extension put on it last month till the end of this month.

Because of the gandy issue going across the bridge, does that one ticket seem fightable? or should I just pay it?

ok first... i didnt read anything but the OP...

Take it to court... If the cop doesnt show up your good. If he does, have it lowered to careless driving and ask for a withhold... You will pay the fine but no points on your LIC...

yes he does... They had to when I got reckless driving... Because he has to prove you were being a reckless driver.

I suppose that is true, the ticket only says "reckless driving" under the description / comments i believe. So it is not very descriptive.

If I was you, I would definitely get the attorney...I went through my traffic issues with a lawyer, and they ended up fighting it for about 6 months, so I actually didnt have to pay anything till then. But it was about $3000 for everything.

Like someother people said, pay that other ticket first, so that when you go in, everything is clean and you have nothing that they can use againest you.
