Lug nut question
my g/f recently went in to get her new rims put on a set of 15inch icw racing wheels and the guy at the tire shop told her she needed a set of tuner lugs and wanted to charge her 10 bucks a lugnut to put them on i told the mechanic to u know go f himself in not so many words lol.
anyway i called autozone and there telling me i need a specific tuner lug made by icw to go with the rims now i personally think this is bullshit and any tuner lug would work please help as i am at a loss iv nvr had this problem before thanks. and if any tuner lug would work does anyone have some laying around i could buy ??

not always because a lot of afermarket wheels, (like the ones we sell and install) have a very small openeing where the lugnut goes into. id say prob 80 % of the wheels we install require the use of at least a spline drive style lugnut.

Well by "tuner" lug I suppose you mean the smaller type lugs. She can't use the OEM lugs if they use a different seat type. Most aftermarket wheels use a cone seat. I know OEM on Honda's are ball seat lugs. If the seat type doesn't match, then the wheel and lug will not sit correctly.
