The hell is it with you guys and pink HIDs?
It was a rare occurrence to see a car with pink/violet HID lights back about a year ago but now any time i head up or down hillsborough Ave. i see two or more of you fuckers with these shit lights on.
I even saw a towing truck had these lights speeding excessively.
If you wanted to stand out, i guess you won. You now stand out like the guy wearing the multicolor gay-pride speedo out on clearwater beach. You know who you are.

last time i was at clearwater beach, i saw 3 or 4 of these guys.
so the friends i was with, we ended up putting bags of ice under their towel while they were in the water
they came back up and sat down and sat there for like 5 minutes
like the 10 or so sammich bags of ice didnt mean anything
one guy finally jumpped up and did the perfect fruity-gay guy impersonation then proceeded to yell at me and my friends like he was some tough guy
god i love clearwater lol

I actually saw an Integra with pink lights headed south on 275...It was the first car with pink headlights I'd ever seen...apart from being inappropriate with the car (gunmetal paint, silver wheels, blue lights inside), it gave absolutely NO illumination. It seriously must have lit up 10 feet in front of his car and thats it.
That shit's dangerous.

I've got the 12k purples on mine, but my car is black & purple. I live way out east, so the more I can see at night the better. There were quite a few sets of the pinks at the meet last night. All I will say is they aren't a shade I'd put on my own car

googled this.....
standard 60-watt incandescent bulb produces 830 lumens
Omega Color (K) and Lumen (lm) chart :
3500K Gold Yellow 3,600 (lm)
6000K Pure White - Blueish 3,200 (lm)
6000K Pure White - Blueish 2nd Gen 4,200 (lm)
8000K Purple White 2,600 (lm)
10000K Pure Blue 2,400 (lm)
so the higher the 'temp', the less light output, according to this chart

That "chart" is fairly wrong.
Fixed:
Kelvin Color Temperature (K) and Lumen (lm) chart :
3500K Gold Yellow ~2,500 - 3,600lm
4200K Soft White (most stock HIDs use this color tiny tinge of yellow) 4,100lm
5000k Strong White (slight tinge of blue) - 4,200lm
6000K White - Blueish 2nd Gen 4,200lm
8000K Darker Blue-purpleish 2,600 (lm)
10000K Pure Blue/indigo 2,400 (lm)
12000k Pinkish purple 2000 lm
