Hayabusa Engine In A Smart Car ============ ( Any Advice )

OK so I have been seeing thise things all over youtube (check links) and I was wondering if this is actually feasable at a decent price, I know I can get a nice 07 Busa engine for around 2k but does anyone have an idea where i could get the Smart car shell cheap ? or how much it would cost to do the swap, see I am looking for a fun little fast car without a huge dent to my wallet. And if you know of anyone who has the ability to do this or what it might cost let me know..
Looking for all advice, do you think it could work in a 240 ?
Nick

My ultimate goal is to make a fun, fast, good looking little whip to entertain the ladies in.. Because for some odd reason the Camry doesn't do it..
I gont get it !

smart cars are something new and they are expensive, so you wont be finding a shell anytime soon

People also do classic mini's.

they also make kits for honda motors.

A classic isn't cheap though.

I'll agree with you on that because there is nothing like a 1310cc a-series with a cam, dual webers, and a header.

Does anyone know what the costs might run ? I mean in any car !

I guess a smart car is out because the shell would be ridiculously expensive IF I could find one, but maybe in a Fiero.. I checked them out on ebay, or a 240, I dont know the first thing about cars or mechanics of engine swaps

Fuck the fiero, I say you wait it out and get the smart car shell like you are originally intending to do. You may find one that was in an accident but still has a feasible frame, or maybe one with a lot of DD miles on it.

VW golf, VW beetle, honda civic hatch, mini coopers, a few fiats... All the cars that I have saw with 'busa engines... Its not an easy thing to do, or even worth it besides the wow factor... Unless you want to make a drag car out of it but still wouldnt help....
