by supe up i didnt mean just add power to the system, more or less increase top speed,
like the people who race on 275 by my house every night (and thursday, poor guy blew his engine in a race... poor sap)

sure it does. you need more and more power to push your car through the air at speed. Ofcoarse this is assuming you car is not gear limited.

I call BS on the 148 mph on an all stock Type R. My JDM Type R motor is all stock and I caught the factory fuel limiter at 121mph per my GPS. It was pulling like a dream too, but you would need a tune to get around the limiter.

plenty of 160ish pulls on the R1, always run out of room.
