What kind of car would you want, that isn't made?
I was thinking today, how I wish some car maker would build a rear drive 2 door hatch with a turbo 4 banger or a small 6. Something along the lines of Volvo's C30 or a GTi, but in a rear drive configuration. Kind of like the old Z3 M Coupe, but with a rear seat that's useable.
Or how about.....a small el camino? No really. Like the size of a civic or focus, but as a truck. Rememebr the old Dodge Rampage? That would be different.
I'd also like to see a totally well built car, built to aircraft type quality specs, but with no power crap....no power seats, no power windows, no bluetooth, nav system, no electronic traction control, none of that. Just a completely solid well built completely modern and all mechanical car, no computer stuff, not even fuel injection. That might be interesting.
I dunno, just brainstorming. If you could tell the car makers of the world to build a type of car, what would it be?Last edited by fastforward; 04-26-2008 at 12:15 AM.

Damn, thats a good question man. Id like to see a street-legal quad. Kinda like a 4 wheeled gixxer, something you could slide a bit.

A small truck (size of a Ford Ranger) with a small turbo diesel 4 banger that gets 40-50mpg hwy and one that I could run on homemade biodiesel. Then maybe I could justify getting myself a 4 wheeler...

if it could be done, an awd, rear engine, massive quad rotary, quad turbo, convertable sick ass coupe, but not big, and heavy, no power bullshit like stated above, simple, no PS, just AC, no added handling control, etc etc, it would be sick.

Car companies wouldn't be interested; the target demographic lives only in Bartertown."The genius of any slave system is found in the dynamics which isolate slaves from each other, obscure the reality of a common condition, and make united rebellion against the oppressor inconceivable." ~Andrea Dworkin
"If... the machine of government... is of such a nature that it requires you to be the agent of injustice to another, then, I say, break the law." ~Henry David Thoreau, 1849
That's right, bitches, TWO quotes!

I've seen the Utes. I love 'em. I think they are cool. I was thinking something smaller, turbo 4 banger, tuned suspension and room for mountain bikes, etc. Preferably rear drive or AWD, but front FWD would be okay I guess.... I'm more thinking a modern interpretation of this:

Or even this:

Yeah, I know...call me crazy, but use your imagination. Would be kind of cool.
