A good update

This was an error on paypal's behalf and it was only this morning that i was given a legitimate reason from paypal.

I found out what happened, and as it turns out, the plate frames hadn't been shipped yet anyway (not leaving THAT job up to anyone anymore thats for sure). Everything is a-ok and Chris (aka MrNiceGuy) is all good. These things happen sometimes and I'm again reminded why I dislike paypal so much.

I'm going to work on getting a different method of processing the payment, but until then, paypal is all good again - for now.

There is also, westernunion online... But much like Pay-pal there is ways to defraud a seller/buyer. There is also something called E-gold. This one I have yet to figure out how to navigate but someone else may be able to chime in. I know it is impossible to scam because once you sell/trade your "E-gold" its traded/sold. Do a google search for it, and see if its something you like.

well i think what i may do is set it up with my merchant account through my business and just create a small online store. It will streamline the entire process.

I'm learning as I go, so please be patient, until then paypal me and I'll gladly get them out to you.

That would be a good idea, but you can still accept Pay-pal that way. And if you do you will have insurance because its a full-time business account. Either way good luck, and Ill probably order mine soon.

Paypal sucks. I only use it when absolutely necessary. I never keep a balance in there and I used to fund only with my credit card so if they ever tried to pull any shit and charge stuff to my account I could reverse the charges on their ass. Although I did recently hook it up to a checking account to be able to remove money from it. I keep the checking account empty as a sort of minimal insurance against paypal stupidity, though with bank stupidity nowadays they'd probably just authorize it and charge me a huge overdraft fee and start charging 30% interest on it to boot.

Hey John, Use google checkout. Its so easy to set up and you will have 0 issues like you have with paypal.

Check it out at least. I have used it many times for large transactions and its been flawless.

thats exactly what happened to me.. i dont keep money in the bank so when they charged that 10 dollars to my debit card my account was overdrawn and without warning they did it again.. so now i had to pay 60 dollars for a 10 dollar plate frame that i dont even get now..

You know what, thanks for reminding me how crummy paypal can be. I put a bit of money in the account to pay a friend for shipping something a week or two ago. I think I'm going to suck whatever money is left back into my checking account and remove it from my paypal funding options once I've paid him.
