I do like them, but I absolutely HATE ford.. my gfs old mustang (last gen) had more problems then my 7.

This may be true, but from what I've heard the new stangs are pretty sturdy. It also helps if your getting it new, without anyone ripping on it.

Question 2, does it have to be brand new because of the warranty? Because you would be much happier in a C5. Then just buy an aftermarket warranty. AAA sells them and they are a very good product imo. This whole it has to be brand new for reliability sake is silly as brand new cars can easily have gremlins.

I'd take the mustang gt...both will have warrenty's and I've never heard of any problems out of them.

Yup, Has to be brand spanking new... Ive told my uncle so many times that I would be better of getting a slightly used car but hes a lawyer and he thinks he knows it all...

Mustangs are are reliable. The 4.6 has been around a long time and its been proven to be a 200k mile motor. They are a lot easier to work on and easier to mod plus cheaper to maintain.
