My roommate told me about this car. Probable release date: Spring '09
Genesis coupe
300+hp, 250+ torque, 3.8 liter V6
RWD, 6spd
with Limited Slip Diff.
20" wheels
Dunlop 255/35 ZR front tires, 275/35 ZR rear
Hyundai promises it probably will be the "most affordable 300-plus horsepower car on the market."

well, I hope they know that 300 hp isn't crap anymore if they want to make noise and or keep up. That is unless the car comes sandbagged with easy power upgrades.

Wrong!!!!! sir....the hyundai scoupe came with a turbo option that ouput a beefy 115 HP to the wheels my friend. They discontinued the car due to problems with the drivetrain failing because of high HP numbers produced by the turbocharged power plant.

the turbo version isn't going to be 300hp. it will likely be like 250. the 300hp is supposed to be v8.
