Nasioc.com is one of the best subaru enthusiast forums.
There are no issues at all with the wrx when its kept stock/close to stock.
The only thing is the gearbox doesn't hold well past 330wtq which is around 110 more than stock.Gearbox upgrades are costly also.My RA's cost me around 1900 shipped and another 700 to remove the tranny and get them installed.
The only other thing is that you HAVE to get a tune after every mod.Re-setting the ecu only does so much.I'm in dire need of a tune right now.
If you need any more info on the wrx just shoot me a pm.I'd be glad to help.People who take TR too seriously are the REAL jokes

srt4's are going to be the dsm's of the modern age. Cheap, accesible power, kids and morons beat the hell out of them, making it near impossible to find a clean, well maintained sample...Id say the wrx, with maintenance records and low miles. Maybe an RSX, but they cant compare to the feel and fun of a wrx. Steer clear of the SRT4 though, they are almost always rolling terds with a turbo.
Oh, and it doesnt matter how fast it is(seth, lol) its still a neon...okay

Pick which one you like the most. You even stated it in your original post. If you have any second guesses, take a few test drives.
Get you where you wanna go, if you know what I mean.
Got a ride that´s smoother than a limousine.
Can you handle the curves, can you run all the lights?
If you can baby boy, than we can go all night.
Cause it´s zero to sixty in three point five
Baby you got the keys.
Now shut up and drive, drive, drive.
Shut up and drive

Not sure on reliability of the WRX.
My choices would be.
1. WRX -Waste more gas, AWD??
2. RSX- Nicer interior, Good EPA, FWD FTL
No SRT4.

I've been in all 3 of the cars that you've mentioned. I'd say the srt/wrx are a tie and the rsx is the loser in my opinion. I love the look of the srt's over the sti's. But as said before, they're tough to find well maintained. RSX just doesn't suite me. It's up to you, go test drive the cars, talk to alot of owners, get info on them!
SRT for me, but then again I dont mind owning a Neon...

The wrx feels more refined in the interior and i love driving it everyday.People who take TR too seriously are the REAL jokes

I'd go w/ an Evo over the WRX. They are comparable, both being rally cars, but the Evo is a little less expensive, and alot less expensive to mod.
