Self service/DIY shops in Tampa Bay area?
Hey all,
I'm in the process of purchasing a 1976 BMW 2002 and I live in a town house with a limited amount of enclosed space. I know some areas like on the west coast still where you can actually rent a lift and enclosed spray booth for body work. Anything like this here or am I best suited with renting a storage unit? Thanks in advance!

I've never heard of it near here, Keenan. I can't imagine many peopel doing this because of the insurance liabilities. Anyone around here who needs to do this rents a storage unit.
I go over to my brother's garage and use his shit. Speaking of which, take a look at the thread about my Mustang with pics in the Ford Forum if you get a chance. Thats the one I've been building since senior year of highschool. Its coming along nicely.

A car club in the Detroit area had bought an old dealership and rented out bays to club members to work on their cars, as well as storing trailers, towing vehicles and the like in their 'service' parking lot. But this was also a smaller club limited to 50 or so members.

I'm really impressed. I've never seen one guy make two totally insiteful comments in one post . It's good to know that in your Opium Daze that the coherent thought process has left your mind. I 'd be far more impressed with something that contributes to the post instead of post whoring.
The point I was making is that some clubs and outside businesses do in fact do these kinds of things. And apparently they do it on the west coast as well.
