Dynoed the Turbo SS today.....
Took her down to Dino at RX to get 'er done! Went straight off the street to the dyno. NO dyno tricks, 18s, radials, straight Shell 93 octain, no meth, alky, N2O, or anything, stock rear with stock 3:42s, Steel flywheel, stock H2O pump, all accessories still belted, A/C, stock 6.0 heads, LPE GT2-3 cam, blah, blah, blah. It was a nice cruise home with my freezing a/c
Runs were on 12lbs with consertive timing because of no added "protection" and the FL air. Tuned by me via the VE tables too. No PE fudging here I have all 3 graphs, SAE, Uncorrected, and STD. Pick your poison. Also, the weather station on the dyno is messed up and Dino is sending it off to be fixed. The humidity on the dyno was reading ~30-40 % and the weather guage next to the dyno was reading 90% so that dropped the numbers some. Im pretty happy with what it did. Too bad I cant feel it because of no traction ![]() ![]()

that has a ls1 right? i brought up about a turbo ls1 in another post. i was told that it will lift the heads with over 7 lbs. witch i thought was odd since the place that sells the kit showed it at 8 lbs. did you have to do anything to the heads?
nice numbers. i was thinking of going turbo but with the 468 and 2 1/4 headers there's not much room. looks like i'll have to get a super charger. |
