So between full time work and full time school I got my Z28 back together.
Its got a few go fast engine mods in addition to everything it had before... Tested her out just a little bit and she still feels pretty streetable for having the cam its got. I cant go slower than 30mph in 1st gear or i get cam surge... and the slowest i can get there is about 3 seconds, trying to accelerate slower brings on the cam surge. Im just happy its back and running good.... Nothing like building a car and having it run good. |

Man, jacked up and yanking from the bottom of the car too, that is dedication. I figured you would have had pics accumulated of a nice pit crew of your hot chicky neighbors. I went thru the same kind of hiccups with my old T/A so I know how you feel. I'd love to freshen up the engine in my current 163K mile LT1, but I can't afford to get another daily driver so that I could park my Z. Nice job Leon. Hopefully if I'm at the New Tampa Bennigan's, I'll hear ya rumble up again.
