Leon, how long was your car down for? I remember seeing it on the side of the road on my way to my shop and thought you had severe engine damage, am I thinking of the same event? None the less, glad to hear its back up and running, it's a good feeling!

yeah had to use the pizza box to hold the ARP head bolts..
I drank all the Miller's out of the 24 pack but then realized that the box was too thin to use for holding anything.... That was awhile ago John.. Think that was on the Kennedy Exit when My clutch exploded.. The springs in the Hub shot out because it was a poor design.. those little bastard springs were like bullets blowing through the bellhousing, and up into the engine bay cutting sensors in half... Ive had this spinning bearing gremlin for like 2 years now.... So 2 years of building the engine... over... and over... and over... No Corey.. I like to keep the specs G14 classified.... Yeah Llyod and Joe know what they are doing..

No numbers yet but I have an idea... I havent opened it up yet because I want to get use to what it feels like normally so I can tell if something goes wrong... Theres a lot of little things and checks I need to do after I run it hard... to make sure shes not leaning out again.. Shouldnt be but I'll hook up a wide band o2 so i can always watch...
Im using Llyod Elliots and Joe Overton's heads/cam setup and been watching what other LT1 camaro guys are getting on the Dyno and in the quarter mile... Im suprised of how much power it still has down low for being a high reving set up... So far so good.. keeping the fingers crossed |
