01-22-2006 06:57 PM #46ok, first off, i never said anything about a lawsuit, everyone else did. I know I cant just go sue a company b/c the ramp failed and nothing happened but some damage to my car. As far as damages to my car, Advance is handling it, then they go to Blitz for their money.

3rd off, it's convient how you left out why I said the first set buckled. I had thought I drove up too close to the edges of the ramps, causing stress along the walls of the ramp.

It's even more convenient that you didn't say why the first set buckled3rd off, it's convient how you left out why I said the first set buckled. I had thought I drove up too close to the edges of the ramps, causing stress along the walls of the ramp.
Oh wait, you did, half way down the first page...........

For the money you spend for those POS ramps , metal or plastic, I would go to Sears and buy the 2 ton floor jack, they even come with stands. I never liked ramps, too many ways to get hurt and cause damage.

Before anyone throws their Rhino Ramps away, can they please cut them apart in the area the broken ones failed? It'd be cool to see if there are bubbles in yours too. Also mention when you purchased them.
Not sure if bubbles = failure, but the more info, the better.

Sorry, but the way they broke looks to me like you described what happened in the wrong order. It looks like you F'd up and drove over the edge of them, and then when your rocker panel slammed down on them it broke. I don't mean to be an asshole(can't help it
) . But I've had a set for several yrs. that hold my 3600# car and my almost 6000# truck just fine. Of course I stop when I get to the top. Thousands and thousands of ppl use these ramps and your the first I've heard of with probs.
If I'm wrong, I apologize, and it sucks for you either way, but jmho.

OMG, I registered here just to talk about this issue. This is so f**ked up. My rhino's are my security blanket. They are in the trash now. I don't know what to do, other than to tell every living soul that I meet, including everybody on the forum where I got word about this. Holy $h*t!

I think instead of throwing them out, everyone who has a set should contact rhino and get a replacement, if you don't do things like this then by throwing them out you are basically telling the company great product because they could give a flying fluck if you threw them out after they get their money, but if you complain and make them fix this then they have to make a better product and everyone wins.

Cars for now 1991 belize green galant VR-4 1458/2000 (
work in progress),1992 civic dx hatch (swapped with power windows)1992 civic vx hatch(swapped and boosted
luv it),1974 dodge charger (yes I will be afraid of her
)1993 ford f150 (ol' Bessie aka the cleaner) and of course my 2005 scion xb.
