yes they are the same idea. The impreza and lancer are both economy cars that have been made pretty fast. The only difference I see is that the neon is a much crappier car than the lancer and impreza. The impreza isnt that bad, and the lancer's interior kinda sucks.... other than that they are nicer cars I see the SRT-4 like taking a geo metro or saturn and making it really fast. In the end it may be fast, but it cannot run away from its shitty car history. Neons have been that red headed step child/laughing stock of the domestic car market since it came out. The best purpose they ever served was cheap rental cars. At least with the STI and the evolution they start out as somewhat decent cars. I guess I just believe that you cant polish a turd. You get what you pay for and they sell brand new for 20k or so. I would rather go on ebay and buy a used sports car than a new SRT-4

i see your point, now lets compare everything else on this car? why did u buy a new computer and not keep the previous? new tv and not the one b4? new phone? microwave? the list is endless..... the SRT-4 was made with year 2000+ technology, not 1986 neon technology, im sure its a tad different, btw im driving a 2005 SRT-4, not a 95 rental neon

ok im gonna have to go street on this one "WAAAAAAAAAAH I spent 3000 G's on my car, that's 8 different colors, dropped 10 G's into hoping to make it into the low 11's, but so much shit has broken in the process that i ended up spending 30 G's in my car to make it into the mid 14's, and all came outta my pocket, and now this piece of shit neon comes out for 20g's that with welfare exhaust and driver mod can run mid-high 13's and all under warranty son of a bitch! i wish i had the money for it!"
