T-45 transmission help.

I need to find someone who can rebuild it if I bring it to them for a decent price, or if someone has a used one from a 1996 Cobra (or like it.) as I know the t-45's are different after 2000. I did find one for a good price from a 2000 Mustang but I don't know how over my head i'll be getting in by swapping the tail.

Swapping the tail housing is no big deal if that's the only thing that is different.

More and more that I think of it, im just going to rebuild the trans as cutting corners by previous ownership has turned this into a restoration project. The motor is pretty much fresh since it was rebuilt like 4 years ago, after the trans is done it will be like having a new car, atleast in theory.

my t45 recently took a shit in my 98 cobra same story only 57k miles. I was just speed shifting 1st-2nd when something went boom! now its locked in 1st gear even in neutral and all i have is 1st and 2nd gear wont go into any other gear with the car running.
