Let the resurrection begin...

So as most of you may know, I bought Frankie from "ODB" a few weeks back. Been working on collecting parts, and trying to assess the correct steps required in order to get the car back together and ready to hit the track!

Initial assessment was way under-rated! I believe it went something like, "needs gas, coolant, radiator, oil, shift linkage, and go"

Not so much...

At any rate, been working diligently, and here is some updated progress pics of the car:

Sleeping:

Transporting:

Engine Starting Point:

Added Some Color (MSD Red):

Started w/the Front Accessories, Etc:

Lifting:

Rear-End Starting Point:

Working:

Rear-End - Uppers & Lowers Replaced:

Organizing & Parts Piling:

And Back To Sleeping Again:

...All in a day's work... Big ups to Shaun (Na306StAnG) @ All American for stepping up to the plate to help sponsor the completion of "Frankie" for a fellow TR Gaggot We were able to get some bugs sorted out, some parts ordered, and some other parts installed! Tonight we got the SFI Balancer on the car, the MSD Cap, Rotor, & Coil installed, and the Rear UCA's & LCA's installed as well... Now "Frankie" is getting some much needed rest (and I'm following suit momentarily)... Sleeping in "White Coupe Way" over at All American!

Next few steps have already been outlined, and we'll get some more work done on Monday after another trip to A&E! We'll have some more pics then too!

I was able to pickup an Aluminum D/S from Walt @ Real Speed today at the SunShine Swap Meet (Thanks Walt!!) - thing is like brand new, and got a damn good deal from him. Went back to All American and installed the D/S with the Billet Spacer for the rear.

Just another step closer to completion!

Here's pics of the Headers/Exhaust... Exhaust didn't fit (was custom fabbed for a car w/a diff trans and motor mounts than mine) - so now I've just bought a "Pypes" 2.5" X-Over, and looking to get a set of Flowmasters...

I've already ordered the Stainless Hangers and the BBK O2 Extensions, just waiting on them in the mail! Then I can get the exhaust DONE, finally, and move onto the next part of the project!

Possibly going to have to scrap the Aerospace Brakes idea, due to clearance/fitment issues with the wheel / fender (due to wheel backspacing). We'll see...
