???? Harley Davidson F-150 ????

Okay need a little info on these trucks I want the one and love the interior, exterior, and heard they are stock SC. I rode in a modded one but never asked if the SC was stock or not. Just lookin for some of the bugs or things to look at when getting one. Ex. Bought my GT not knowin it was the non PI motor. Just stuff like that. Thanx for tha help.

I think only like they were only supercharged for one or two years

now you can get the supercharger on the new ones, 450hp, but they're pretty expensive....

the first few years they were black and non-supercharged. then they were silver and SCed. the new ones have an option for dealer installed ford racing whipples.

naw like an 02 or 03 SC is wat I want. Silver. I looked at tha new SC F's there is no way in hell I could afford that truck I think its close to 60 or 65 k for one!!

it's basically just a crew cab lightning.

i remember back when james built that monster turbo setup on his harley edition. that thing was so nice.

Yep, they are nice. Big rims, sweet interior. New ones have a Saleen option, outfitted with Saleen supercharger and stuff. Can't remember what all it includes. I didn't look too closely. Harley just ain't my thing.

Wish they'd sell a 4 door Saleen or Roush truck.

Well does anyone know how many HP's they put down stock I wanna know wat I'm gettin into before I get it and stuff like that. Plus wat are tha main bolt ons that would give a little more pull!

I believe they were 340hp stock. Get a pulley, tune, or even add a wet shot, and you will definitely be truckin'.

Check some of the advertisers in MM&FF, I think there is a pulley kit you can buy so you do not have to press pulley on and off for swaps. You press on the "face", then bolt the pulley to that. You can also buy a handheld tuner to make changes. JDM Engineering does alot of Lightnings/Harley F150's. If you are more into someone else doing the work, there is definitely not a shortage of tuners in the area that could do it for you. How much power do you want to make? You will get to a certain point where you will need custom tuning after a few bolt-ons.
